Hi, Thanks for letting me know about your latest inserts on your website.

I confess that my faviorits are your "People & places". Mostly I like all those that show an interior of maltese houses with people as well as scenes of folklore. Please keep up your good work, maybe one day I, myself will manage to have one of your works to enhance my house.

P.s. Last Sunday, very late at night I was on the Airport shuttle bus comming from Catania and we passed each other.

My dearest kenneth! i'm so happy to see your total abandonment and your giving free reign to what really needs to come out...the colours are so fresh and the free-flowing of your brush, mirrors your renewed inspiration!

A couple of years ago, you weren't sure of this style but i remember telling you to follow your heart. It is very clear that your outdoor painting sessions was the antidote to the stifled and suppressed feelings i was seeing in your earlier works... i really love this new approach of yours...kenneth your recurrent portrayal of views from cliffs betrays your wanting to spread your wings and to keep riding the breeze...so just let go and fly kenny!!

As usual, Ken, I feel that kick in my stomach when I view your paintings - even the landscapes make me nostalgic though most are still there - it's the eyes they're seen through I miss 'though nothing can bring back the hour / of splendour in the grass and glory in the flower'. I had asked you a number of times how much specific paintings cost and you never answered - I might have had a painting of yours instead of 8,000 euros lost to the recession! I love Buskett after the Rain - everything actually.

hi Kenneth - I've always loved the colours, the grasp of a world we both knew, the sumptuousness and the absurdity of a life-style which thought privelege was its (divine)right. Between Nicholas de Piro and yourself, you have preserved its idiosyncracies with affection and, perhaps, I too feel a vague nostalgia for naivety.

As for your landscapes, would you believe they brought me to tears? we no longer have the flamboyant Kenneth covering up his nostalgia with a tendency to ironize through his cartoons. I don't think I have ever seen our islands emerge, despite colour and experimentation (and imitation sometimes), with such tenderness - we may fume at its silliness and our frustrations, but the tenderness restored 'the glory and the freshness of a dream.

In the meantime I wish you serenity, further creativity and lots of laughter for Christmas and 2008

a hug - maria

I delight in every new work, and your old ones reveal new delights every time one re-visits them; little details one had not previously noticed, subtle references to work out and intriguing storylines to speculate.
